The Lioness behind ¨ La Leona¨

Tayde González is a Latinx first time business owner born in Leon, Guanajuato Mexico 🇲🇽

Hence the name “La Leona” which translates to “Lioness” in English.

“I want the brand itself to represent the strong, powerful, female role models that I have looked up to all my life like my mother, sisters, aunts, cousins, grandmothers, teachers and mentors.

My family, like many other immigrants came to America in hopes of finding better life quality and opportunities.

The struggle and sacrifices everyone had to make (but especially my mom) have completely shaped me and engrained in me a relentless hard working spirit that cannot be broken.”
